Bryan and Katherine Kelly were beyond proud as they celebrated the marriage of their daughter, Georgia, to James Salter. The wedding took place on the Kellys’ picturesque West Acre Farm in Darlington on Saturday, October 12. After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the Salters will be living in Darlington.

Katherine Kelly and Michele Wolbert attended the 2024 Harford Community College President’s Circle Dinner, where The Kelly Group was inducted into the O’Connell Society for lifetime donations exceeding $50,000, supporting scholarships for students through the HCC Foundation.

Close Foundation fundraiser, the Harford County Public Library's Game Changers series, and the Historical Society's Annual Dinner. Several Financial Planners and Advisors from The Kelly Group recently returned from the 2024 Financial Planning Association Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio, where they gained valuable insights on retirement planning, tax optimization, estate planning, and the latest technology tools.

The Kelly Group was pleased to once again sponsor and attend the annual Albert P. Close Foundation event on September 4th at Stone Ridge Hollow in Forest Hill. The event successfully raised essential funds to support Harford County’s at-risk youth, including new mothers and substance-exposed newborns. 

Attending from The Kelly Group were Jacob and Shannon Adkins, Julie Shearman, Rick and Vanessa Fletcher, Michael and Denise Bertrand, Carrie Anderson, Caryn Ches, and Chad Arrington. The Kelly Group’s Michele Wolbert serves on the board of the Close Foundation. Although Michele was unable to attend this year, her crucial role in planning the event ensured that it was a wonderful evening for all.

As Joppatowne High School reopens and continues to heal from the recent heartbreaking event, during times like this, it’s crucial that we come together to support one another. Whether it’s offering a comforting word, lending a listening ear, or simply standing by someone in need, every small act of kindness can make a world of difference.

Nora, daughter of financial planner Zach and his wife, Lauren, recently celebrated her first birthday! With a vibrant personality and a delightful mix of curiosity and independence, Nora is the quintessential “look but please don’t touch” child! Some of her favorite things in life right now are her Mama and Dada, watching her dogs play, eating cheese, and reading books—especially ones that mention ducks, which is also her favorite word.

It’s an exciting event that highlights the tremendous time and effort dedicated young adults invest in raising quality and marketable farm animals. The auction both encourages the youngsters’ agricultural pursuits and fosters a deep sense of community.

Kelly Sauserman, a former intern at Kelly Group, recently graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Science in Accounting.
