Jodi’s warm and caring demeanor is one of her greatest strengths. Known for her ability to listen and her passion for finding solutions, she relishes every opportunity to help clients with their short- and long- term financial goals and objectives through hands-on financial review. Her honest and sound feedback, even if it is hard to hear, is delivered with a healthy dose of wit, warmth and humor.
With over 30 years of experience in financial services, Jodi brings a wealth of knowledge to her very personalized approach to financial coaching and counseling. Her clients benefit from her past experience of over 24 years in the banking industry.
Jodi, who joined The Kelly Group in 2009 as a financial advisor, earned a BA in business from Notre Dame Maryland University. She holds the designation of a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant (ChFEBC℠) and assists federal employees in addressing financial concerns. She is knowledgeable about changes to federal benefits, associated programs including the Federal Employees' Retirement System and the Civil Service Retirement System, and special provisions.
A strong advocate for financial literacy, Jodi speaks extensively to individuals on the benefits of holistic financial planning, and teaches Social Security Strategies, the Savvy Woman Financial Series, and Retirement Planning Sessions as an adjunct at Harford Community College. She served on the Academy of Finance Board and the Executive Board of the Women’s Giving Circle of Harford County. Jodi is a 2008 graduate of Harford Leadership Academy and served as a County Commissioner on the Harford County Foster Care Review Board for 10 years. She is a member of the Chesapeake Professional Women’s Network and the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
Jodi and her husband live in Phoenix, Maryland, and have two married children and three grandchildren. They enjoy spending time outdoors camping with their family and two dogs, sisters Sophie and Sadie.
