While Lauren appreciates a good spreadsheet, she also believes in the importance of understanding the dynamics of psychology, relationships and money in developing a holistic financial plan. She applies her undergraduate studies in human communication and psychology to the planning process, integrating relational, behavioral, cognitive and emotional elements to help improve the financial health of her clients.
An enthusiastic financial planning associate who has a strong desire to help clients achieve their dreams, Lauren is involved in the financial planning process from beginning to end. She helps prepare for and participates in meetings, and works with The Kelly Group advisors in drafting plans and supporting client needs.
Lauren joined the firm with three years of experience working at a high-net-worth family office. She learned that financial planning is a sensitive topic and that working with a financial advisor can be instrumental in managing complexities and relationships, whatever the family size.
Lauren attended Salisbury University, where she received a BA in human communications with a minor in business administration and psychology as well as an MBA. She also completed a master’s certificate in financial therapy. She is working toward a master of personal financial planning from Kansas State University.
