From his early-morning workouts to his late-night study sessions pursuing his Master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning at Texas Tech University, Jacob attacks every obstacle head-on and with a goal-oriented approach. His work ethic and grit led to his graduating Salisbury University cum laude, in finance, in three-and-one-half years with a number of academic accolades under his belt.
Jacob joined The Kelly Group in 2018 and works with the firm’s advisors on preparing financial plans. He also is involved in planning, research and development of planning strategies. He obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification in the Fall of 2022.
A born-and-bred Harford County “kid,” Jacob cares about his clients and his community. He focuses on client outcomes by using goal-based financial planning and pursues many philanthropic activities, including as a member of the Bel Air Rotary Club and as a participant in the annual SARC Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® event.
Jacob lives in Bel Air with his wife, Shannon, and their dog, Tilly. Shannon and Jacob are expecting their first child in the Spring of 2023 and are looking forward to parenthood while accepting all the tips and tricks friends have to offer!
